Bernhard Huslage died at the age of 88 - a horse expert par excellence and breeder of Chica (by Chronos), born in 1964, whom Harli Seifert had chosen as her jumping, hunting and leisure horse.
With Wolfgang Mengers in the saddle, Chica became one of the best eventing horses of her time. Furthermore, under her breeding name Rudilore II, she became the foundation mare of Harli Seifert's successful breeding programme, which produced more than 20 licensed stallions, including our famous Rubin Royal OLD, and numerous other sport horses.
Bernhard Huslage has rendered numerous services to German horse breeding - and was honoured for this by the FN with the Gustav Rau Medal in bronze.
