Ridden by Therese Nilshagen/SWE, La Vie turned his debut in the advanced class up to St. Georges into superior victories with results of over 73 percent. At the age of five and six, he qualified for the Bundeschampionat and had previously completed a highly rated sports test in Verden (8.44).

Sons from the first crop of La Vie were licensed. La Bonheur won silver at the Hanoverian Championships and took part in the Bundeschampionat. La Mancha took fifth place in Verden. At the Westphalian Championships, Lady Rubin secured fourth place.

Father is the Celle state stud stallion and successful advanced level Livaldon, who was interestingly bred via Vivaldi-Donnerhall-Eiger II.

The dam Sarafina also produced the full sister Loudzi Gold, bronze winner of the French Dressage Horse Championships (4 years old) and a finalist again in the two years that followed, and the half-brother Bernstein (by Benicio) who was sold at the Westphalian online auction.

The dam's sire Scolari, himself trained up to advanced level, presented top horses with a high frequency.

Ribadeo (by Riverside), who was successful up to St. Georges, descends from the granddam.

Water World (by World Cup I), placed under Bastian Konzag Grand Prix, also comes from the line.

“La Vie is a model student: always there, always ready to perform. He passes this on to his offspring, just like his start and his generous movement.”
Wolfgang Stagge, manager of the DLZ
